Once proposals have been agreed, we’ll commission a full site survey and undertake a feasibility study. At this stage we also generate basic sketch layouts for you.
If you’re undertaking a large-scale project with numerous consultants it can be easy to lose sight of the overall concept. With Horton consulting across the whole project, your vision will stay at the heart of all design decisions from start to finish.
On new build and larger refurbishment projects, we believe early interiors consultation is vital to ensure your space works for you. When possible, we recommend bringing us in at the time you appoint your architect – we can help to make decisions about the use and flow of space, all of which are key to achieving the best internal layouts.
Depending on the scale of the project, you can choose to use our in-house design team exclusively, or we work alongside a chosen architect and landscape designer. Once we’ve established your design needs (whether for a combination of build, interiors and landscaping or all three) we will arrange to meet with you.
We strive to deliver the best project on time and on budget. We’ll keep you updated with regular correspondence and face-to-face meetings, giving you the opportunity to take an active role in the development of your project. Alternatively, Horton can manage your project for you - representing your interests and design wishes, keeping the overall design consistent with your vision and monitoring your budget.
