We would like to welcome new and existing clients. Our door is always open for you to come and browse through the eclectic mix of showroom pieces and leaf through our vast library of wallpaper, fabric and carpet collections, at your leisure. These collections are continually updated to bring you the latest in Interior Design (details of which can be found on our latest products page). You can avoid the crowds of the city centre (Chester 20 minutes, Liverpool 30 minutes and Manchester 40 minutes) and there is plenty of free parking. We remain competitive and we charge recommended retail prices as set by our suppliers.
We can offer a full consultation either in our showroom or on site and provide a full measuring, design and fitting service. Our reputation and success is based on high standards, attention to detail and most importantly client care. We are very approachable, down to earth and friendly; our style is natural and elegant, covering both contemporary and traditional interiors. A great many of our commissions are repeats with clients regularly coming back to us over the years. We call upon a broad team of skilled craftsmen and trade people with whom we have excellent working relationships built over the last twenty years.

Gillian
Director and Senior Designer
Obtained a BA (Hons) in Accountancy and Law then worked in London as a commodity broker with Merrill Lynch, before pursuing her passion for interiors. Gillian now has over 25 years experience working in the Interior Design industry and established Horton and Co in 1998. After attempting to leave the industry in 2006 to pursue other interests she couldn’t stay away!

Hannah
Director and Senior Designer
Hannah studied Interior Design at KLC Design School, Chelsea Harbour – the epicentre of Interior Design in the UK. Hannah worked for and was trained by Gillian at Horton & Co for 7 years (during which she also worked towards her HND Business qualification) before acquiring the business in 2006.

Helen
Designer
Interior Designer with extensive CAD experience. Achieved a first class BA (Hons) in Interior, Exhibition and Retail Design. Helen manages large Interior projects working closely with clients to produce CAD drawings proposing furniture and lighting layouts, as well as bespoke fixed joinery, furniture design and soft furnishing schemes.

Rachael
Junior Designer and CAD Technician
Achieved a first class BA (Hons) in Interior, Exhibition and Retail Design. Rachael helps produce our CAD technical drawings as well as assisting the senior designers with project managing and designing.

Fiona
Personal Assistant
Fiona has been with us since 2005, she is multi skilled, originally working as a seamstress with 8 years experience hand sewing. Fiona is now part of the office team working under the directors assisting with project managing and designing.

Sandy
PA / Administrator
Assistant to both directors in project managing design jobs, as well as running the marketing activities, events and general office management.

Lesley-Anne
MAAT Accountant
A qualified MAAT Accountant who oversees the smooth running of Horton financial & management accounts.
Lorna
In-house seamstress
After completing a 5 year apprenticeship Lorna has now been producing hand sewn soft furnishings for 40 years. Examples of her exquisite work can be viewed in our showroom
